There was no rest for the weary as most of the top players on the PGA Tour were back in action for the third consecutive week, this time at the Travelers Championship, a signature event at TPC River Highlands in Cromwell, Conn.

So, a signature event must mean a Scottie Scheffler victory, right? Well, yes. The World No. 1 captured his sixth win of the year and fourth at a signature event—Arnold Palmer Invitational, RBC Heritage, Memorial Tournament and now the Travelers. Those to go with the Masters and the Players.

Scheffler shot 65-64-64-65 for a 22-under-par total. Tom Kim made birdie on the last hole to shoot a final-round 66 and sneak into a playoff with Scheffler. But on the first playoff hole Kim dumped his approach into a greenside bunker and was not able to get up and down, leaving Scheffler with a simple two-putt par for win No. 6.

For the victory, Scheffler took home $3.6 million from the overall $20 million purse.

It's the first time that anyone has won six times on the PGA Tour before July since Arnold Palmer accomplished the feat in 1962.

Here is the rundown for what each player earned this week.
