Joel Dahmen turns to Golf Twitter to set up money match for this weekend

Bryson DeChambeau may be golf's new people's champ, but Joel Dahmen remains a true man of the people as well. Especially when looking for a weekend game.
With most of his tour pro friends at this week's Travelers Championship, Dahmen decided he needed some competition to keep his game sharp for next week's Rocket Mortgage Classic. So he turned to Golf Twitter to try to set up a money game.
Not surprisingly, there were plenty of takers so you had to act fast. Even though playing against a PGA Tour pro and a scratch golfer sounds like a pretty daunting task.
For the next hour, Dahmen responded to replies, including (politely) turning down NFL legend J.J. Watt.
Eventually, Joel asked one person to DM him. And shortly after, the popular pro and Netflix star announced he was all set for Saturday.
Good luck to the brave souls meeting this challenge. It should be a fun experience, but you might want to bring your checkbook.
