Did you get into groove watching the British Open? Or how about last week watching the passionate crowds at Le Golf National turn the Olympic men's competition into a full-throated "major-like" atmosphere appreciated by all those in contention come Sunday's final round? Found a sweet spot in terms of just the right time to get up (or stay up until) to catch all the action without losing too much sleep? Well, it’s time to rewind and do it all again for another week as the Olympic women’s golf tournaments takes place outside Paris, with some fun coffee golf/morning edition in store for many Americans watching on the East Coast and late-night brew on the West Coast.

With golf returning for the third time to the modern Olympic Games with the competition taking place at Le Golf National outside Paris, NBC Sports will be broadcasting live coverage of both the men’s and women’s tournaments on Golf Channel and streaming on Peacock.

The field for the women's event includes 60 players competing in 72-hole stroke play with gold, silver and bronze medals going to the top three finishes. As was the case in the men's event, where 2021 gold medalist Xander Schauffele was back to try to win a second gold (only to be outpaced by eventual winner Scottie Scheffler) Nelly Korda returns to the women's competition hoping to make it back-to-back Olympic victories.
