Olympics 2024 tee times: Round 3 women's pairings in Paris at Le Golf National
A glance at the leaderboard after 36 holes at the Olympic women’s golf tournament offers fans a little bit of everything.
If you want surprises, there is Switzerland’s Morgane Metraux, leading by one at eight under par at Le Golf National despite being 137th in the Rolex Women’s Golf Rankings.
If you want rising talents, there is China’s Ruoning Yin, one back at seven under, a three-time winner on the LPGA Tour in the last 16 months, including the 2023 KPMG Women’s PGA Championship.
If you want legends, there is New Zealand’s Lydia Ko, three back at five under, looking to add a gold medal to the silver she won in Rio in 2016 and bronze she won in Tokyo in 2021, and grab the final point needed to qualify for the LPGA Hall of Fame.
Let’s add a retiring LPGA veteran—Mariajo Uribe—looking to go out in style, a local darling—Celine Boutier—hoping to give host country France something to cheer for and an American—Nelly KOrda—whose hopes of repeating as Olympic champion are being put to the test.
