For a country notorious for mastering the art of style, France has won a surprisingly few number of majors: only one, in fact, over a century ago, with Arnaud Massy’s 1907 victory at the Open Championship. He did so with sartorial finesse, donning classic trousers, overcoat, tie, and signature flat cap.
