Watch Aaron Rodgers throw an effortless dime to Jordan Spieth during Wednesday Pro-Am

February 01, 2018

Unfortunately for fans of great NFL quarterbacking (all of us), the 2017 NFL season severely lacked in that department. The biggest blow came in week six, when Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers suffered a broken collarbone in a loss to the Minnesota Vikings. The two-time MVP played one more game before being put on ice after the Packers were eliminated in week 15.

On Wednesday, six weeks after we last saw him on a playing field, Rodgers returned again, only this time it was on a golf course during the Wednesday pro-am at the Waste Management Phoenix Open. While we'd much rather see him slinging the rock on Sunday against New England, #12 was able to get a few tosses in at TPC Scottsdale, none better than this effortless DIME to Jordan Spieth, who Rodgers was paired with in the pro-am:

Trying not to exaggerate here, but that's the best throw I've seen from any quarterback in 2018. Look at the flick of the wrist:

On. The. Money. Placing it only where his receiver could catch it. And how about the twist at the end of the video? Jordan Spieth throws lefty!? Mind blown.
