Pebble Beach plus prime time equals a dream scenario for golf fans. And the USGA and NBC Universal are anxious to make those dreams come alive with this week telecast of the 78th U.S. Women’s Open. With NBC airing the third and fourth rounds until 9 p.m. EDT, it will mark the first time a women’s golf major will be broadcast live in primetime on network TV.
Combining Peacock, USA Network and NBC, a total of 26 hours of live golf are scheduled for air during the four rounds this week from California’s Monterey Peninsula.
