5 things to expect on Friday at the U.S. Women's Open

COLORADO SPRINGS, Co. -- Hello from The Broadmoor, where 131 players have yet to finish their first rounds. Play resumed at 7:40 a.m. local time. If all goes well, the second round of play will start at 2:07 p.m.

Here are five things to look for on this (very) long Friday:

1. The marquee pairing: When Paula Creamer and Yani Tseng step onto the first tee at 8:36 a.m., they will still draw the largest crowds. Their second round is scheduled to begin at 2:51 p.m.

2. The weather: Friday's forecast looks a lot more promising than Thursday's. The biggest threat of rain will occur from 5 to 10 p.m., when there will be a 40 percent chance of thunderstorms.

3. How much play will really get done: Since a few players are scheduled to begin their first round at 1:56 p.m., there is no possible way all 156 players will finish their first two rounds before the sun sets this evening.
