Either Danny Willett is a wizard, or he just made the luckiest birdie of 2016

Danny Willett pulled off Thursday's most impressive trick on a golf course. Going for the par-5 13th in two during the opening round of the Omega Dubai Desert Classic, Willett found the water with his approach. Or did he? Watch the video closely:

As you can see from the clip, Willett's ball took an unbelievable bounce back onto the fairway. From there, he took advantage of his huge break by getting up-and-down for birdie during an opening-round 70 at the European Tour event.

So is Willett some kind of wizard, or did he just get lucky? After, Willett had his own explanation for his fortunate result.

"I found a little scuff on the ball afterwards so it must have hit a rock or something down there. . . I said, 'That's what clean living does for you!'"

Mystery solved.
