#12 Kelly Tilghman

Golf Channel anchor Kelly Tilghman.

When colleague Nick Faldo was discussing on air late in the second round of the Mercedes-Benz Championship what it would take to slow Tiger Woods' dominance on tour, Golf Channel anchor Tilghman flippantly said "lynch him in a back alley." Woods accepted her next-day apology for the racially insensitive comment, but others such as Rev. Al Sharpton pressed for Tilghman's dismissal. She ultimately was suspended for two weeks without pay, a lesser penalty than the editor of a weekly golf magazine that illustrated the story with a noose on its cover. He was fired.
