John Daly's patriotic outfit will restore your faith in America

SPRINGFIELD, N.J. -- The Statue of Liberty. Washington Monument. The Gateway Arch. Mount Rushmore. All symbols of American zeal sewn into the fabric of our country's freedom. All pale in patriotism, though, to the tribute John Daly paid Uncle Sam at Baltusrol Golf Club on Tuesday night.

Daly was in attendance at the PGA Championship's annual Champions Dinner, earning his invite thanks to his breakthrough 1991 win at Crooked Stick. The Wild Thing, never averse to daring wardrobe, showed up to the celebration rocking this red, white and blue ensemble:
