Jordan to play Quail Hollow pro-am (though not with Tiger)

Michael Jordan will play in the Quail Hollow Championship pro-am on Wednesday, though he won't be paired with his friend Tiger Woods. Instead, he'll play with Presidents Cup captain Fred Couples, for whom he was an assistant captain, Ron Green Jr. is reporting in the Charlotte Observer. They'll be joined by Quail Hollow president Johnny Harris.

Woods' pro-am partners won't be known until this evening.
