Dodgers ball girl shows up seven security guards, tackles field invader on her own

It’s a tough day to be a Los Angeles Dodgers security guard. During Sunday’s game against the crosstown rival Angels, a rogue fan ran onto the field. He ducked and dodged. He zigged. He zagged. He broke loose from a pack of seven (SEVEN!) pursuers like Barry Sanders from the line of scrimmage and went streaking for the fence. All in all, it was a pretty pathetic showing from Chavez Ravine’s finest, but it got even worse moments later when a ball girl stepped up, tightened her chinstrap, and did their dirty work for them.

As the old saying goes, don’t judge the size of the dog in the fight, judge the size of the fight in the dog.

Freaking iconic. She squares her hips, gets low, and sends this yuckster ass-over-tea kettle into the front row. As security piles on him, she gets up, dusts herself off, and walks away without looking back. This is a free safety sitting on a crossing route. This The Undertaker at Hell in a Cell. You don’t come into her territory and not pay the toll. Toll done paid.

Inspired by their new enforcer, the Dodgers went on to roll the Angels 8-2.
