Steve Wheatcroft blades bunker shot into water to lose RBC Canadian Open

What would you do if you needed to get up and down out of a bunker to force a playoff on the PGA Tour?

Wait, before you answer that question, watch what Steve Wheatcroft did on the final hole of the RBC Canadian Open. The 38-year-old journeyman was in a good position to at least force a playoff at Glen Abbey Golf Club and perhaps pick up his first PGA Tour title.

It was apparent from Wheatcroft's reaction that the bunker had less sand than he anticipated, but it's fair to say the degree of difficulty was elevated given what was at stake.
