Tiger Woods confirms he will play in this week's Wyndham Championship for the first time

Turns out, Tiger Woods' season isn't over just yet after all.

After committing to play at this week's Wyndham Championship at Friday's deadline, Woods confirmed on Monday that he'll actually tee it up at the Greensboro event for the first time. Woods' agent, Mark Steinberg, sent the following email to ESPN.com:

"We discussed it in detail over the weekend. It was not appropriate to confirm during the PGA Championship. Tiger has heard great things about the event and is looking forward to the week."
