Some players are using driver. Most are using 3-wood. Almost all are making at least a birdie.
The drivable par-4 12th hole at Chambers Bay had been one of the most exciting holes through three days at the U.S. Open, but on Sunday, the tees are up and the pin is in its most acessable spot all week. Keegan Bradley gave us a taste of what can happen if you hit just a decent shot out to the right of the sloped green:

"And another kick-in eagle," you can hear the announcer say at the end of the clip. Yep. Bradley is already at least the fourth player to hit a tee shot to within two feet of the hole in the final round.
It prompted Fox Sports' Corey Pavin to predict we'll see a hole-in-one later. If so, that would be a first at the U.S. Open and just a second in PGA Tour history. And it might just determine who winds up hoisting the trophy.
