Watch Justin Thomas and Rickie Fowler make back-to-back aces on the same hole

AUGUSTA, Ga. -- Jordan Spieth was the big man in the clubhouse on Tuesday night as he hosted the Champions Dinner for the first time. But by Wednesday afternoon, he was playing third-string in his own group at the Par 3 Contest. That's what happens when your two playing partners, fellow young stars Rickie Fowler and Justin Thomas, make back-to-back holes-in-one.

The rare feat happened on the fourth hole of Augusta National's par-3 course. Thomas had the honor on the tee box:

And then, Fowler answered with an ace of his own:

From those screenshots, you can probably gather that Spieth couldn't make it a hat trick -- something his buds gave him an earful for.

"I said it might have been the hardest shot I've ever had to hit following them," Spieth told ESPN after. "It was fun being a spectator in the group today."
