Weather warnings have been posted at Baltusrol. And the weekend forecast only gets worse (UPDATE: Play suspended)

SPRINGFIELD, N.J. -- Weather warning signs were posted at Baltusrol Golf Club at 1:33 EST Saturday afternoon, about 90 minutes before the leaders are expected to tee off. According to the Weather Channel's Springfield, N.J. forecast, thunderstorms are envisioned to hit the PGA Championship sometime this afternoon:

Worse, the rain isn't anticipated to subside. The Baltusrol hourly forecast from Google gives a 50-70 percent chance of precipitation from 3 PM EST to until 10 PM EST...Sunday night:

Monday is likewise supposed to be soggy, meaning the possibility of a (gulp) Tuesday finish. Stay tuned.
