You May Wonder...

SUGAR GROVE, Ill.-- ...how long it took to get to the course this morning. The answer is a glorious 23 minutes. No, I didn't leave the hotel at 4 a.m. -- I left at the same time as yesterday morning. But I did follow the super-secret detour directions handed out by the LPGA media folks last night. And boy, did they work.Â

At times, I was afraid of never finding my way out of the corn-field maze through which the stealth route had me weave, but I never once had to wait behind another car. And that's a beautiful thing.

However, detours may not be necessary anymore. From what I'm told, the regular tournament traffic to Rich Harvest Farms is much better today, after the local sheriff's department implemented a "redesigned traffic plan" and added an additional 10 Illinois state troopers to help control traffic following yesterday's debacle.Â

I'm still not taking any chances tomorrow. I'm going through the corn fields yet again.Â
